Jonathan started Terra Tectonics in 1992, and produced a wide range and variety of projects. He brings a solid understanding of local climate, environmental, aesthetic and economic issues, as well as a core understanding of project management, based upon experiences from similar projects. Jonathan brings an non-typical background and approach, to Landscape Architecture. Starting out as a hand draftsman working in a design/build manufacturing plant, then on to PBS&J as a draftsman and from there into the Planning and Landscape Architecture department. He started off with a basic and solid understanding of office production and project management. Working towards licensure in 1986, he worked with several well known Architectural Firms and Landscape Contractors in the Tampa Bay area, including Design Advocates, Inc.
When he is not designing impactful Landscape Architecture in the Tampa Bay area, he plays cello with the Suncoast Symphony Orchestra and the Our-Musical-Chairs string group, enjoys sailing and fishing. He also enjoys traveling & travel photography, and plays the Guitar both electric and acoustic. An avid Sports car racing buff and RC airplane enthusiast also loves to cook and BBQ.
