Our design Philosophy
Landscape Architecture
is planning, design, management and nurturing of the built and natural environments. Often misunderstood as just gardening or designing flowerbeds, it is design that encompasses environmental and social space, as well as management of urban and natural areas for years to come. We take a project concept, the surrounding climate and environment, and the users’ needs and desires, both known and unknown, and blend these design ingredients into a presentable, usable, sustainable form.
Our Process:
- Finding the proper way to communicate this blend of ideas is the challenge and pleasure presented to a Landscape Architect.
- Visiting each site to understand the challenges of the environment, the surrounding properties, the climate the wind, light, noise levels overlaid with and goals of the client
- Combining the clients goals for development, permitting and budgets with the site engineering, architecture and sustainable materials into a cohesive concept.
- Applying innovation solutions to the project to create value for the customer such as LID design, Self-Watering Tree wells, wildflower plantings, modern landscape design land design

- First phase of design is Site Analysis - understanding the site surrounding properties, existing trees and planned usage of the space.
- Then we present the client with Design Concepts that blend the site with the clients goals with an added input of creativity and sustainable design.
- Moving forward to Construction and Permit plans to submit for the all important review and permits to build the project.
- We also provide Construction Observation to observe and ensure the project meets the approved contract documents. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that you are completely satisfied with the end result of your project.
