The Pointe Office Park was looking for some type of an outdoor seating area under the existing Live Oak trees along the shores of Tampa Bay. It was very important to the owner to preserve the live oak trees and to use them as part of the final design solution. We designed the patio space under the Live Oak trees using a tree aeration system for long term tree root protection. The space is a free-form shape winding its way under the trees.  Rising above the concrete seating patio is a pavilion of open lattice spacing which is very bright and architecturally pleasing and provides an open air shelter under the branches of the Live Oaks.  It matches the clean contemporary architecture of the Office Park and provides a welcoming gathering place for the office workers for lunch and breaks, as well as visitors.
